The club meets on the first Friday of each month. Doors are open from 7pm, ready to start at 7:30pm and finishing around 9:30pm.

The meetings are held in the basement of the Norden Methodist Church

Annual membership is £25.00 which helps to support the club and its activities.

A raffle is held each month with a variety of prizes and the proceeds again go to supporting the club.

Members and guests alike pay £2 entry fee each meeting.

So! what do you get for your £2 ?

Tea / coffee and biscuits, access to "The Resource", great company, some tuition and a chance to help sweep up at the end of the night.

Please do come along and you may well end up wanting to become a member too!

Download the Enrollment Form (PDF File), it can be filled in electronically or printed off and completed by hand.  You can also collect one from us at our meetings!

Similar to a lot of “like minded groups” our members are a wide range of ages, backgrounds and skill levels.

This mixture helps create such a valuable resource, the older, more skilled members have the depth of experience whereas a younger member might be more up to date
with modern ways and tools. A members background can also add a lot more than just woodturning knowledge. They might have a flair for art and design or be good at teaching
others. They may be a great researcher with the ability to gather in-depth information about a particular process or challenge.

We have great organisers to help with the running of the club, arranging events such as professional turner demonstration days
and various craft fairs throughout the year on the members behalf.

We have a club shop that stocks tools and supplies, all at sensible prices. The shop will consider requests for items to be stocked and will do so depending on demand.
There is also a library with books and video that can be loaned.

Each month a competition is held, usually having a given subject, and members are encouraged to enter their work.
