Competitions form a yardstick for
individuals to measure their skills against. In this photograph, on the left is Andy Brough's
winning tea caddy in the 'boxes' category at Stoneleigh's International Woodworking and Turning Show,
whilst on the right we can see a couple of items, turned by Les Sutcliffe, which have been awarded
placings (the fruit is only there for one to compare the size of the urn against).
