Club members sell their items at Craft Fairs and Farmers Markets throughout the North West.
The product range is vast, from light pulls, bottle stoppers, egg and egg cups, fruit of every
description, boxes, bowls and all types of grinders (coffee, salt and pepper), clocks, games,
platters, vases, pens and pen stands, perfume bottles and many things in between - up to
standard lamps.
The members apply their wood skills in different ways,
so in addition to items being turned, they may also be carved. Additionally, several
members enjoy making presentation boxes, rocking chairs and horses, childrens' toys
(trains, cars etc).
Different techniques are employed which enables items to be
individualised - thereby making very special christening presents, wedding/wedding
anniversary presents, retirement gifts, or just something to mark an occasion.
